Here\u2019s something you might not know about me. I have amazingly keen powers of observation. Right now, I see a student looking for a little help on an observation essay. Pretty good, huh?<\/p>\n

But an observation essay isn\u2019t just about listing what you see. In a way, it\u2019s like narrative writing<\/a>. You need to frame your observations in some type of story. You need to answer \u201cso what?\u201d<\/p>\n

    2 Observation Essay Examples to Watch Closely<\/h2>\n

    As you read through these two observation essay examples, notice that both have a have a purpose<\/a> for telling their story. In other words, the writer isn\u2019t simply observing for the sake of observing.<\/p>\n

    There\u2019s a point to the observation (one that the writer had in mind even before beginning the observation). The essay then frames the observation in a narrative format.<\/p>\n

    To help you see what I mean by this, I\u2019ve included comments in both essays to highlight key sections, as well as each paper\u2019s strengths and weaknesses.<\/p>\n
